Rene E Hidalgo

Rene Hidalgo received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Florida International University and a Juris Doctorate Law Degree from Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in 2004. In law school, Rene was recognized for his academic excellence by making the dean’s list on four separate occasions. Rene also mentored newer students as a student adviser, and shined during his participation in the tort injury clinical program.

Rene is passionately committed to protecting the rights of his clients in workers' compensation, subrogation, and business matters, and is a tenacious advocate for his clients. He areas of emphasis include workers’ compensation claims, employment disputes, and many different types of injury matters. He is licensed to practice in the state of Florida and has been admitted into the Florida Bar to practice before all circuits and into the Federal Bar for the Southern District of Florida. Rene has extensive trial experience having tried over forty workers’ compensation cases at final hearing.

He also has substantial expertise in handling all aspects of workers’ compensation appeals, and has presented oral argument at the appellate level before the First District Court of Appeals. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
