After I walked out of court this morning I called the friend that recommended me Marcia 17 months ago to thank him for introducing me to her. She fought for me, she made me feel confident throughout this process... she was always there for me anytime I needed her and at the end, not only she achieved... what I asked her for the very first time I met her, but also made sure my rights were respected. 17 months ago I was completely lost... now I am the happiest father in the whole world.

She makes the initial consultation long on purpose. the minute you walk out the door she's already eaten up $1K of your retainer. Then she sits on the work and does NOTHING. her billing statement shows hours on end of "conference" calls with opposing counsel and case went nowhere. I am worse than whe...n I started only after she depleted $7.5K of the retainer (within 2 months). I later found, from reviewing my court docket that many filings were never forwarded to me and I was not made aware of them. The most horrible experience I have had with an attorney. FOR SOMETHING SO FRAGILE AS MATTERS OF YOUR FAMILY, PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM MARCIA SOTO!!!
