Leo A. Manzanilla

As a native Floridian, I Leo Manzanilla attended High School at Gulliver Preparatory in Miami. Upon receiving my Undergraduate Degree from Rollins College in Winter Park, I  attended Business Graduate School at The University of Miami. For years I ran a successful financial services company, while simultaneously overseeing my own textile and manufacturing company with domestic and overseas factories. Through my business dealings, I saw first-hand accounts of lawyers taking advantage of clients through questionable billing practices, and dealt with lawyers who lost sight of the personal and business aspects of clients’ situations. In 1996, after successfully selling my textile company, I went back to The University of Miami to attend Law School where I graduated with honors after only two and a half years. I vowed to be a different kind of lawyer, someone more results and business-oriented, who always puts the clients needs first. I initiated a crusade against lawyers who carelessly handled claims, that constantly created obstacles and setting clients up for long, drawn-out, litigious battles that benefit no one but themselves. More practical and pragmatic, and with a background as a small-business owner, I understand the need for quick and efficient solutions. I, Leo Manzanilla, have “been there and done that,” and I will take on any insurance company hell-bent on making your life difficult.
