I had the displeasure of obtaining Jose Lago to handle a simple amicable divorce which involved several properties Assets and two children. Once lago realized there was money involved he immediately stirred the divorce and made matters horrific for me and my two children. The divorce took the path of... litigation and personal fights between the ex wife and I resulting in a costly divorce. I FIRED Jose Lago and hired a new attorney in order to clean his costly mess. I would NEVER recommend LAGO to represent anybody, because at the end of the day, my two children were the true victims.

I felt in a big store, this lago firm took more that 2 years to help my case, after 6 years I,still in bad conditions a lot pain , I cant perfom or work never again like I used to no even drive more than 30 minutes, they never fight my case like it need to done,I have 3 hermiated disk in my lower bac...k, a lot pain after 6 years this is sad how the didnot care abput people just they make sure make their bemefit for.them when the client is who get really sick and suffer all..

I rarely give reviews on anything but Jose Lago is as good and honest as an attorney gets and its only fair to let everyone know. He is genuinely concerned for the well being of his clients, he is also very talkative and friendly, every appointment lasted 2 hours from how much we enjoyed talking. It ...can be a little difficult to get a hold of him, but hes a great attorney with many clients and he makes sure he makes enough time to give each client the time they need to have all their questions answered. Mr. Lago handled my accident and personal injury case and I will keep coming back to him every time i am in need of any legal assistance. His assistants are all extremely sweet and attentive and his paralegal is the best there is, this office has over 30 years of experience, they get you the most compensation for your case, they are professional, and while its not always easy to get a hold of them they give you amazing attention when you do and make sure all your questions are answered. I always recommend them to all my friends, lifelong client!

Jose Luis Lago was my lawyer for the divorce. Years later, i went back for a child support case and he asked me for $5000.00 for the case, so since i didn't have all the money together i gave him $1500.00 as a deposit. He asked me for $2500.00 so he could begin working. I am a construction worker and... this problem occurred in 2009 when construction went down. Since i didn't have the rest of the money he decided not to begin his case. Towards the end i asked him for the money i gave him and he refused to give in to me. So do you guys need a better review than this?

Jose Luis Lago is a terrible lawyer and human being. All he cares about is money. I hired him to handle my divorce, he didn't inform us of anything, all he ever did was ask for more and more money. He even fixed the final mediation with the other lawyer and screwed us over. We spent months not hearin...g from him and whenever we called the secretary said he would call back and he never would.
