Jeffrey Scott Bailey

Mr. Bailey provides legal guidance and advice for a diverse range of legal matters including commercial litigation, commercial transactions, employment and labor related issues, immigration matters and acquisitions. Mr. Bailey also provides counseling, instruction and training with respect to corporate compliance matters nationwide. In addition to his practice, he is often a speaker on various legal topics. He recently served a panelist at the Cuban American Bar Association’s 2010 Corporate Counsel Event and spoke at the American Bar Association’s Section of International Law Fall 2011 Meeting in Dublin, Ireland.

Mr. Bailey received a Bachelor’s degree, with honors, with a dual major in Spanish Language and Literature and Latin American and Caribbean Studies from Florida State University and earned a Juris Doctorate, with honors, from the University of Miami School of Law.  Mr. Bailey is member in good standing of the Florida Bar, the Federal Bar (Southern District of Florida, District of Puerto Rico, 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and United States Supreme Court), the American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, and the Coral Gables Bar Association.  He was named a “Top Dealmaker” in the corporate/domestic category by the Miami Daily Business Review and has been recognized as a “Top Young Lawyer in Florida” by Florida Super Lawyers.   Mr. Bailey is also an alumnus of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s 1995 Leadership Miami class.

In addition to Mr. Bailey’s involvement with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, he also serves as a member of the Miami-Dade Volunteer Leadership Initiative Committee, as a Board Member of the South Florida Emerald Society, and as a member of Florida International University’s President’s Council.  He was also recently honored by the Deliver the Dream Foundation as a Community Champion for his community involvement.
