The six reviews that are posted on Google are not real customers, I wish that I can give zero stars. This "attorney" is a pompous, unprofessional, self-serving and incompetent clown. He lacks the integrity, professionalism, empathy and overall skillset to be a lawyer and unfortunately my aunt retaine...d him for a Chapter 13 bankruptcy case and it was terrible. He does not answer phone calls, emails, texts nor direct questions because he does not like to feel challenged nor questioned. He expects you to believe his lies at face value so he just keeps repeating, "everything is taken cared of." This man does nothing that he says he'll do and has disconnected the call or gone completely silent on us a number of times while we tried to get clarity on our case which is very disrespectful and for me, a first from any person who calls themselves a professional. Don being a substandard so-called attorney is not even the icing on the cake. We were faithfully paying into the bankruptcy plan for almost 18 months and then got a court hearing notice that he advised us not to go to because the case is dismissed and we were approved for a loan modification a long time ago. Well that doesnt make sense because how come we never received the loan mod approval letter in the mail a long time ago just like all the other paperwork?? We kept contacting him for over two months asking for the documents proving this and he could never produce it. Our plan got dismissed because of his ill advice and we ended up retaining a competent firm (Van Horn) who is now representing us. Dont waste your time on this Don James character unless you are okay with paying someone and kissing their behind at the same time.
