Steven has been a hero to our family. We were recommended to him by a friend. In time of desperation he had the patience and professionalism to explain with clarity when no else would. Always available to respond any question at any time. I trusted every word he said. He helped us with two cases on...e in Chicago and one in Miami; he did the impossible to make both a WIN. I was referred to Steven Amster when I was in need of legal representation. He completely blew me away in our first meet. In this free consultation he went out of his way to meet me at my home (probably not typical) and hear my side of the story. He proceeded to ask me more to really get the whole pi...cture and provided me with a much better understanding of the situation and my options. I normally do not make postings, but in this case I will, I have had the services of Mr. Steven Amster in miami florida, unlike other attorneys well known to my family and myself , this attorney does not drop your case or ignore your calls because of fears, I honestly do trust him, I had an attorney ...that for unkown reasons ignored my calls and then told a family member that she would not take any cases from me or my family because of an ongoing investigation which I have no knowledge of and this I consider as bad ethics due to that she was my attorney there to defend me. well with Mr. Steven Amster you will never have this problem at all he is upfront and honest , he will not take advantage of a client that is afraid due to not having knowledge of what to do. His rates are very reasonable and you will be able to relax and take care of any legal matters. I am glad I hired him and not just on one occasion, he has proven himself to me, and his staff is excellent.

My impressions are based on facts I experienced with him. I would say; Absolutely an ONLY money oriented professional, will do whatever takes until he gets paid, after that I wish you good luck! Arrives late even at court dates! He was careless on my case as far as providing me with realistic ...possibilities or fighting for me! He induced me into taking the easy way,for him, by saying it s the best way ! Be careful! He negotiated my case with the prosecutor and at sentence day nothing he said was agreed happened as it was supposed! NEVER return or answer calls. If you are tense or nervous be ready to get a lot of more aggravation from him ignoring you over and over. Specially if you call him from Jail! after having paid him in full! Very limited to none knowledge on my criminal case did not care to learn more through out the case. I do not know if it is true or not but people related to the case have said that he used me to get a more important client a sweeter deal with the same prosecutor!! THAT disturbed my mind since I did not approach him to be my lawyer! He is the one who found me and offered me his services 70% cheaper than every other of the 32 lawyers I visited! So made me very suspicious and I am still to this day many years later with this in the back of my head! My experience with S. E. Amester was much more traumatic than the 3 years of my life he did cost me for being an incompetent careless professional, as far as I see! Those are my personal opinions after hiring him to defend me on a criminal case which I was NOT guilty of!. I paid him in full. I would never ever use him again. I believe anyone would have a much better chance on their own. Once again those are my opinions based on how he conducted my case.
