Biography
On October 10, 1985 I made the decision that drugs and alcohol weren't working for me, and I joined AA and NA. I have been clean and sober since that date, and used my experience with drug and alcohol addiction to help my clients. Throughout my 41 years of being an attorney, I have helped thousands of clients because, in part, of my understanding of how the 12 steps work in peoples lives.
I am the president of Friends of the Miami Drug Court, an organization that raises the money necessary to help keep the Drug Court running. I helped form this organization in 2005 and have been active in the Drug Court since 1990.
