My work permit renewal was due. I applied for renewal online and received positive feedback from USCIS. A week later I received an appointment for bio-metrics. In the 6th week, unlike previous times, USCIS decided to stop the clock in processing my request, requiring extra evidence for eligibility. ...My current job was in jeopardy, so time was of essence in solving this predicament.
