Brett L. Borrow

For nearly 18 years, Florida attorney Brett Borrow has represented individuals in accident cases against negligent parties and their liability insurance industry. Mr. Borrow founded the personal injury law firm of Mustell & Borrow in Miami, FL in 1998, and, since such time, has obtained multiple million dollar and multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts for his clients in all types of cases including wrongful death, car accidents, commercial truck accidents, negligent security incidents, slip and fall accidents and medical malpractice matters. Mr. Borrow is a member of both the Million and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum which is an honor reserved for only those who have achieved verdicts and/or settlements eclipsing the amount of two million dollars.

Before founding the law firm of Mustell & Borrow, Mr. Borrow worked as a trial attorney with the prestigious, statewide law firm of Kubicki Draper in Miami, FL. As a trial lawyer at Kubicki Draper, Mr. Borrow litigated cases in all areas of insurance defense representation including wrongful death, automobile liability, premises liability, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect and other complex tort litigation. To this day, Mr. Borrow continues to use the experience and knowledge he gained in his years representing and defending large insurance companies for the benefit of his injured clients so as to maximize the value of their case settlements and trial verdicts.

To maintain a balanced life outside of his law practice, Mr. Borrow is a varsity football coach at the Miami Country Day School in Miami, Florida and is general counsel of the Southeastern Football Conference. Mr. Borrow studied law at St. John's University School of Law where he was a Dean List Student and an editor for the St. John's University School of Law Journal of Legal Commentary. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Borrow studied at Iona College in New Rochelle, NY where he was a NCAA athlete and honors student. While at Iona, Mr. Borrow was a 3-year starter and team captain of the Iona College Football Team. Mr. Borrow and his college sweetheart have been married for 14 years and have one child.
