Buyer beware, this lawyer doesn't know what he doesn't know. He's a good lawyer to hire if you need a devils advocate to argue against you. He made me feel like he was working with the opposing counsel. He never sent a retainer, just asked for a deposit. I paid Mr. Nordlund a requested $500 de...posit to help me defend a case in which an insurance company was suing me to modify an arbitration award. Mr. Nordlund suggested contacting the arbitrator, this advice was legally wrong as an arbitrator can only be contacted by going through the AAA. Mr. Nordlund suggested that the arbitrator could be called as a witness, also wrong. Mr. Nordlund then argued with me at length on the merits of my case, a case I had won. The day before Mr. Nordlund had agreed to attend a scheduled hearing he called after 5:00 PM to tell me he had nothing to support my case, so I told him don't attend. Mr. Nordlunds final advice was to work with opposing counsel and give them what they wanted, give back $4,000 of an arbitration award, give back a case I had already won.?? Since he had only given me bad advice I asked him to refund half my deposit, he laughed at me. I finished the case by myself and won by summary judgment on arguments Mr. Nordlund told me were wrong.
