I called Jamaal when I found out a tested postive for my Legal medical merijuana. I am a RN, BSN, and chose the natural way of pain and anxiety control while I was NOT practicing as a nurse for 4 months. I disclosed it to the hospital that I had medical merijuana BEFORE they got the actual lab result...s back. They wanted me to self report to the IPN, which is designed for actual drug addict heath professionals. I did not meet that criteria for the IPN, and sign a 5 year contract that is for profit, won't accept insurance. Requires you to check in everyday, and you cannot even take a Tylenol without reporting it to them. He would not stand for that, as I was not an addict, did not put myself or patients in any type of danger. He relentlessly fought for me on every angle....knowing the TRUE law, and not just what the hospital said their policy was. If another health care provider is in a situation where the hospital or place of employment tells you you HAVE to self report, you DO NOT. Jamaal knee this, and saved my career by agressivly fighting for what was right, knowing what the hospital was going to try and throw at him before they did. He was always one step ahead of them. I would reccommed him to any healthcare professional that feels like there is no other answer, and HAS to do what the hosptial or place of employment makes you believe. Call Jamaal before you say a word to any reporting agency. He negotiated, and made them back down. He saved everything I have ever worked for. Some days I wanted to throw in the towel, and just say I don't want to be a nurse anymore, but he would not allow that. He knew and KNOWS what he is doing, and how to deliver his knowledge to get the best possible outcome. For me, it was almost 10 years of school and my passion for helping people, healing people, compassion for people. He would not let me give up, and he definitely did not give up on me. He had my worst nightmare fixed in a very short time, and whatever you do... Call Jamaal before you call ANYONE else when it comes to saving your career in the medical field. He is compassionate, quick to respond, readily available, and I thank God that I hired him to represent me in the very confusing world of what to do when something goes wrong as a medical professional.
