Ashley Marie Dewelde

Ashley Dewelde is a third-year Attorney. She has quickly attained valuable litigation, mediation and trial experience and has developed vital skills. Ms. Dewelde laid a strong foundation when she clerked for The Honorable Stanford Blake, a Miami-Dade family court judge, while achieving academic excellence.  Ms. Dewelde is a valuable asset to the firm’s clients. She is bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish.

In 2009, Ms. Dewelde graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University and in 2012 she earned her Juris Doctorate from The University of Miami School of Law where she achieved the Dean’s List for academics. In 2010, Ms. Dewelde was awarded an academic scholarship by the Cuban American Bar Association for distinction in writing and academics.

Ms. Dewelde is a proud native of Miami so she is determined to make a real difference by contributing her skills and energies to the people of this community.  Ms. Dewelde is a board member and volunteer for Kideside, Inc., an organization which raises needed funds to support Miami-Dade’s Family Court Services.  The funds ensure assistance for children and families suffering through divorce or abuse.  Ms. Dewelde also serves as a Guardian ad Litem through Miami-Dade County’s Legal Aid’s “Put Something Back” program and is a member of the Host Committee for the annual “Raise the Bar” event which benefits the Women’s Fund of Miami-Dade.
