Tyler Jon Tanner

Tyler Tanner is an Partner at McAlpin Conroy, PA in Miami, Florida. As an accomplished and well-rounded civil litigator, he practices in both federal and state court defending national and international corporations against torts, products liability, premises liability, and a wide range of maritime claims.

Mr. Tanner is Board Certified in Admiralty & Maritime Law by the Florida Bar. He is a specialist in handling admiralty and maritime matters of all sorts, including passenger and crew claims, salvage, collisions, groundings, cargo damage or theft, products liability, marine insurance, and the enforcement of maritime liens. Mr. Tanner’s keen legal mind and passion for maritime law earned him “Rising Star” recognition by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine in Transportation & Maritime Law for eight consecutive years.

Mr. Tanner attended law school at the University of Miami, where he graduated cum laude. During law school, Mr. Tanner was a member of the International Moot Court Board, earned Honors in the highly acclaimed Litigation Skills Program, and served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Judge Shelby Highsmith at the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
