Jonathan Micah Neuman

Jonathan Neuman is a Miami native.  He provides high quality legal representation across a variety of fields while maintaining a level of customer service and care that is difficult for others to match.  He has been in practice for himself for over a decade.

Jonathan is a member of the Miami-Dade County Bar Association and the Florida Justice Association.  He is admitted to the Bar in Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Jonathan graduated with honors from the University of Miami School of Law in 1999 with a Juris Doctor. He attended on a full academic scholarship and was on the Dean’s List multiple times.  While at UM, Jonathan was an alternate on the Moot Court National Team, and he interned for Professor Lili Levi and for Judge Gerald B. Cope, Jr. of the Third District Court of Appeal.  He also worked as a Dean’s Fellow in the Writing Center and was the Managing Editor and Staff Writer for the Res Ipsa Loquitur, the official student newspaper for the UM School of Law.

Prior to his time at UM, Jonathan lived in Washington, D.C., where he graduated with honors from Georgetown University with a Master of Arts in English in 1996.  He attended on a full academic scholarship and team taught English classes to undergraduate students.  He passed the oral defense of his Master’s thesis with distinction, the highest possible rating.  His Master’s thesis was published in the Georgetown University Library.

Jonathan has a Bachelor of Arts in English from Florida International University, where he graduated with honors in 1993.  While at FIU, he was the Editor-in-Chief of the multiple award-winning student newspaper, The Beacon, and was a founding peer tutor in the Writing Center.
