Biography
Mr. Ferguson is a former partner of Steel Hector & Davis LLP’s commercial litigation department, where he worked from 1990 to 1998. Founded in 1925, Steel Hector was a premiere full-service international law firm in the United States, with more than 200 attorneys in 11 offices around the world. Steel Hector has since merged with the global full-service Squire Sanders LLP law firm. Heeding the call to public service, Mr. Ferguson subsequently completed a three-year tour of duty at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida (Miami headquarters) and earned the Timothy Evans Award recognizing the District’s most outstanding Assistant United States Attorney. Mr. Ferguson rotated through the Appellate, Major Prosecutions and Violent Crimes sections of the United States Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Ferguson received his undergraduate degree in Business Management from Barry University, summa cum laude, and his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law in 1989, cum laude, where he was a Harvey T. Reid Law Scholar and a member and published author of the University of Miami Law Review. He is also a former law clerk to the Honorable Edward B. Davis, former Chief United States District Judge for the Southern District of Florida.

Troy said they would give me back my visa and they did
