Federal Case

I hired Troy because he informed me that he was familiar with my case, what he did not tell me that he had a client that was the person who informed the IRS Criminal Dept regarding me and my actions to get a deal. Troy was never honest with me and always kept me in the blind. Troy also sent me a t...hreating email; Troy review my evidence and also kept my discovery from me until after I made a plea. Troy made this ordeal MORE stressful; I now know the stress was his way of control and having me make bad decision. Troy repeatly called me alias names and tell me what they (govt) were saying, but NEVER giving me a clear understanding of who was defending me. I finally wrote the Judge and the JUDGE removed Troy from my case. In the end it turn around without Troy and once I received an attorney that was for me.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
