IF YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR CASE, HIRE ATTORNEY DISPALDO! Attorney DiSpaldo was just terrible at handling my case. Everything started when I hired a firm that assigned this attorney to represent me on the case. Mr. DiSpaldo arrived an hour and fifteen minutes late to a mediation meeting at the Court Ho...use. He arrived sweaty, messy, without air, and asking me to please remind him really quick of the facts of the case. Then, he went into mediation and asked me to please step out of the room, which I stupidly did. No negotiation was reached, and a hearing date was soon set. Mr. DiSpaldo not only missed such hearing date, but NEVER answer the other attorney's discovery nor complaint giving the judge no option but to grant the other side a default Final Summary Judgment!!!! After contacting the firm to find out what happened, I found out that this attorney was not at the office at the moment. A few days later I was notified that attorney DiSpaldo had been fired from the firm. Well, things do not end there... thing is I had given all original proof of my case to this attorney, and he sent me home telling me he will make copies and give me back the originals on our next meeting (which he never did). After asking and asking for my originals, and having the firm answer to me that they were going to look for them and have them ready as soon as possible, I missed my opportunity of transferring the case to another attorney. Once the case "ended", I find out that my originals had been lost... and with them, all possible chances of me winning an appeal on the case. Thankfully, the firm recognized some of the error done by their former attorney and offered to cover some of the costs of the huge loss... still, I will always remember how Mr. DiSpaldo cost me more than $10k, lots of headaches, and frustration. I will never recommend this lawyer to anyone.
