Jillene Doolkadir

Jillene A. Doolkadir, Esq.,the founder and President of Doolkadir Law, P.A., is a licensed Florida attorney. She received her Juris Doctorate and Certificate in International Legal Practice Concentration from Nova Southeastern University in 2011 and has not looked back since. Prior to starting her practice Jillene secured and completed a highly coveted mini pupillage at the prestigious Barristers’ Chambers, QEB Hollis Whiteman in London, United Kingdom. She assisted in the defense of an attempted murder and rape case and practiced in the Old Bailey under the supervision of her pupil master, Barrister Edward Henry. She also assisted in conducting multi-jurisdictional research of white collar crime matters and has written two scholarly papers on white collar crime and comparative law topics. Jillene then went on to complete her legal studies and clerkship at the firm of Marriot Harrison, one of London’s premiere Media, Technology and Intellectual Property firms. She completed her clerkship under the supervision of Partner Duncan Innes and assisted in a variety of transactional matters. After returning from abroad, Jillene became an Assistant State Attorney, prosecuting criminal matters on behalf of the State of Florida in the 17th Judicial Circuit- Broward County. She tried several non-jury trials and argued motions on behalf of the State of Florida before the court as a first chair attorney.

Jillene then turned her focus on corporate in-house matters and became the General Counsel of a major Florida pharmaceutical consulting company where she handled mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, drafted and negotiated various agreements and oversaw the everyday legal matters of the company.

Jillene has been involved in the music industry in some form since 2001. She has worked for companies such as Clear Channel Radio, Cox Media and VP Records. In her current practice, Jillene combines her knowledge of the music industry and legal training to deliver insightful representation to her clients in the music industry. Jillene has also teamed up with Warriors Boxing and Promotions, one of Florida’s most popular boxing promoters. She works as a member of their legal team representing the interests of fighters, promoters and managers

Jillene is a Member in Good Standing of the Florida Bar and United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Jillene is a native of Eccles, Guyana and migrated to America in the 1980′s. She and her loving husband are parents to two adorable dogs. During her free time, Jillene loves to exercise, cook, and spend time with her family.
