Deanna McSwain, P.A., represented my family’s Company against a Company Listing sight in their attempt to collect unauthorized advertisement fees. Although I can usually settle these kinds of disputes on my own, their representatives were being extremely aggressive, stating potential lawsuit, report...ing to D&B, credit bureaus, etc…We are a small family owned business with a very credible reputation throughout our industry. We certainly did not want this situation to tarnish our reputation. After many unsuccessful attempts to settle the dispute, we decided to move forward with Ms. McSwain’s legal services. I feel she was very professional. She was able to settle the claim swiftly and in our best interest and her billing was precise and exactly as had been agreed upon. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone looking for an experienced, honest attorney that is also very capable at obtaining a favorable outcome.

A friend from church referred me to Mrs. McSwain after my prior lawyer took advantage of me. Mrs. McSwain jumped right into my complicated case and was very encouraging. She worked with me emotionally, made the case affordable and brought it to an end way before I expected. Far better than my prior... lawyer. Deanna did work for me related to a new business formation, which included drafting necessary Terms of Service and docs for a new formed online LLC. She was extremely diligent and did an excellent job, paying attention to the smallest of details. I've dealt with other attorneys in the past and Deann...a operated with the utmost integrity and professionalism, which was a sharp contrast to what I had previously experienced. She is compassionate and caring and will always put clients' needs in front of her own. I would highly recommend her as an attorney ... she is extremely knowledgeable in all areas of the law, is very caring and most of all very trustworthy. 5 stars!

I am very disappointed with the legal services provided by Ms. McSwain. An attorney friend of mine recommended her and felt she was someone I could trust to provide good legal representation and fair billing but unfortunately for me she was mistaken. Ms. McSwain did everything possible to convince me... to prolong my divorce case and subsequently increase her payment. Ms. McSwain charges for every phone call, text, and email regardless of the size or message content.(eg she charged to inform me she would be out of the office for a few days) Although Ms. McSwain illustrated a percentage discount on all invoices, I feel most charges were overstated to compensate for these discounts. I also experienced very untimely billing of invoices with the expectation that these late invoices be paid immediately and in full for the continuation of legal services. Ms. McSwain was very unorganized and requested the same information multiple times charging fees upon every duplicate request. Ms. McSwain only seemed interested in prolonging my case and creating extra work to increase her fees; in the end I came out with a lot of financial debt and grief over the entire experience. Divorce is very stressful and I feel that Ms. McSwain only added to my stress on many levels. I would not recommend this attorney unless you have money and time to waste.
