Michael J Dunleavy

I hired Mr. Dunleavy two years ago to help me with my parenting plan. He was direct, fair and worked out a payment plan where I paid him weekly until it was set. His staff is wonderful and was very helpful and patient with me. I am going to call him again to modify the parenting plan. I trust him and... am so glad he was referred to me.

My divorce wasn't easy, my ex-husband is a lawyer himself, so it was a long hauled battle and, no doubt, the most difficult time in my life thus far. I had several attorneys representing me before Michael and no one could make sense of the mess. Michael is very pragmatic and direct, and just did what... he had to do to end the nonsense in a way that was fair for all involved. His approach was "What do you need for your children?". He always comes from a place of contribution, I have never met another lawyer like him. In fact, I have met very few human beings like Michael. He's a true gentleman, but don't let his kindness fool you. He will definitely get you the fair divorce that you need and deserve.

I found Mr. Dunleavy through a friend of mine who said he advocates for people who have been unjustly profiled. I am a Muslim man from India going through a divorce with a white American woman who tried to use every stereotype against me. She kidnapped our son from Seattle and fled to Florida and fil...ed for divorce while a filing was pending in Washington. Mr. Dunleavy gave me the confidence I needed to face the charges against me. He represented me enthusiastically and picked apart the accusations and revealed the blatant lies. He had the false case in Florida dismissed expediently and kicked the case back to Seattle where it belonged. Mr. Dunleavy charged me a fair price and to me, was worth much more that what he charged. I had 2 other lawyers before him on this same issue; one was a total buffoon and I had to fire him and the 2nd was wanting to keep the case going! I would highly recommend Mr. Dunleavy.
