Biography
I have worked in criminal defense since the beginning of my legal career and I could never imagine myself working in any other area of the law. I started as an assistant and have worked my way through law school, marrying what I learned at the best trial advocacy school in the country with invalueable on the job training to bring me to where I am today. I pride myself on my ability to relate to my clients and my overwhelming desire to work hard to defend those who have put their faith and trust in me. You will find more experienced legal minds, but you will not find a more zealous advocate.
Monday morning quarterback is an easy position...so, let's talk about what we do today and moving forward to get you back to your life. It's my job to police the police, but I am also committed to every client leaving me better than they found me in more than one way.
You were going to call a lawyer, but then you got high? Cannabis law is changing ALL THE TIME! Don't think you know, know. Before you make any moves that could last a lot longer than you want, make sure you get your questions answered.
Things happen. If a thing happened, we will fight like hell to make sure everything went as it should have and then, we will fix it as best we can. But, if you are accused of doing a thing, and you didn't, then we will fight like hell to make sure your rights, and freedom, are protected.
Stop beating yourself up! This is a unique type of crime that touches every type of person, with one thing in common, never an intent! Let's make sure your rights are protected, and then make this as painless as possible.
Drug crimes can mean a lot of things. What it doesn't mean is that you or your loved one is a bad person that doesn't deserve a defense. If you or someone you love finds yourself at a fork in the road, I have stood at that fork, and I can help, in more ways than one.
Old charges are like a bad penny...even if you only have one. If you are eligible legally, we can toss that old penny in a fountain for good and the wish of your past being actually in the past, can come true.
It's not the same world today as it was when we were kids. Juveniles face the criminal justice system for things they didn't when I was a kid. This can be scary for them, and you, so don't walk it alone. Have your questions answered, and your child's long future protected.
One of the few areas where we start climbing the mountain from the moment a charge is read. This is a tough area, and it requires a tough, thorough defense. These cases are often false allegations, more than most would believe. Don't hope it works out ok, make sure it does.
Laws are always changing, and not generally in everyone's favor. Before you make moves, even with things as simple as paying tickets, know that you are best served by getting a bit of advice before you do, or paying off all those old fines can lead to new kinds of suspensions.
There are always multiple sides to every story. Make sure your story is heard and that your rights are protected, you have everything to lose if you don't.
Complex cases require attention to detail, and time. Sometimes the hay stack has to be dismantled one piece at a time to find that needle, but it is my job to do what it takes to protect my clients.
