We hired this law firm to handle our chapter 7 bankruptcy. The entire process was an absolute nightmare. Not only did the law firm mismanage our files, she lost them on several occasions forcing us to duplicate our efforts over and over again. She was never avail to speak thus was stuck dealing with ...her administrator. When we went to our hearing Mary Jo was so kind to bring her boyfriend with her who is not a lawyer, to sit and observe.. (client/lawyer confidentiality clearly not being observed)... When hiring a lawyer, dont make the same mistake we did by hiring the cheapest as I would have paid twice as much to have had 1/2 the aggravation...

After consulting with a few attorneys, I realized that many were just trying to get a retainer signed. After meeting with Ms. Rivero, I knew she was more interested in what was in my best interest. She provided me with more options than the other consulting attorneys, was very detailed in all her ex...planations, and really took care of my case. Bankruptcy was a hard idea to digest, but she made it so easy for me, would take the time to hear me through my tears, and really was compassionate of her work. I would recommend her to anyone that doesn't want to feel taken advantage of, she truly looks out for her clients and their interest. I will be returning for other services she provides.
