Marc Alan Gregg

Marc Gregg helped me ruin my life. I was charged with a DUI. A very simple case without any other moving violations, (ie speeding, swerving, reckless). After having social drinks out with friends and having stopped several hours prior to driving, I was pulled over as a possible suspect from an anony...mous call made from the freeway. Feeling pretty good that I was not over the legal limit and it wasn’t me, I went ahead and cooperated and blew..(don’t ever blow duh!!) ...Unfortunately and impossibly I apparently blew a .16. This made no sense and did not agree with my behavior on video. The legal limit is .08 in Florida, but a .15 is an “enhanced” over the limit and changes the severity of the charge dramatically. This tiny 1/100 of 1% fraction changed my future forever. Marc Gregg put up no defense even though I am a woman and the Intoxilyzer 8000 has been proven to have false positive‘s based on calibration, food, my gender, mensural cycle, medical conditions etc. It is not reliable!! What this one hundredth of 1% translates to is a first-degree misdemeanor rather than second-degree misdemeanor AND is the same statute and equivalent to having caused harm to property or person! All job applications that are in sensitive or responsible positions Will ask if you have had any Felonies or FIRST-degree misdemeanor which disqualify me for most jobs now. This one hundredth of 1% has doomed me for the rest of my life because that is ALL they had on me- and it could have been fought-but my attorney didn’t know enough to fight it or challenge a very easily challenged and very often wrong breathalyzer in a first time offense, with no priors and a very clean driving record with some of the lowest insurance rates in the Country. I could have easily qualified for a first time offenders diversion program like most everyone I know got -even when they had other tickets for dangerous driving -and it would be erased—not it’s there forever-but Marc didn’t even fight for me. I trusted a friend who referred Marc Gregg and regret it for the rest of my life. Marc took on a case he knew he had no experience with (he didn’t know the statute of DUI) so I do not recommend him to anyone. BTW-it has been 8 years since my DUI and because it was “enhanced” it still haunts me today-and will for 75 years. Imagine that. 1/100 of 100% is the difference between dismissed or reduced by diversion (treatment, community service and fines) or 75 years in public record!
