Gawayne A. Kelly law firm really satisfied all my expectations. They handled my divorce case in a very timely & professional manner. beyond expectation; the best family lawyer in Florida by far, if he sense the process for you matter is going to take eternity, he will not scam you like most lawyers. He will flat out go oyt of his way and make sure the job is done Accurately. Retainer fee is very reasonable compared to other scam a...rtist lawyers and he stays on top of the case, no matter what his team of experts are good. If you give him a 4.5star rating you know your full of crap(& Appearently details where left out by ur ignorance ).. He excels at his job, every case is his own.

I'll start by saying I don't give 5 stars for anything. Anything. That being said, I would give Gawayne 4.5 stars if I could. Pro's: Attentive to my needs, fair retainer and billing policy (e.g. all bills were itemized showing exactly what tasks billable hours went to. ) Handled my many moods du...ring a very painful divorce proceeding. My greatest regret is that I didn't find and hire him sooner as my previous attorney offered such professional legal advice as "be sure to bring your checkbook" and did not seem to care to know the facts of my case. Con's: I handle most of my communications via email in my business life. And there is an unwritten rule that emails are replied to within 1-2 business days. Gawayne was sometimes not as attentive as I would like in responding to my emails. It is not his fault that the profession in which he works is a "judge-centric" environment. With that in mind, I think many lawyers are ultra-cautious in their proceedings and cases in that they don't want to get on a judge's "bad side" since they have to stand before them everyday for a variety of clients. So even though there were some instances in my case that I wish Gawayne may have pushed a little harder, I understand that the judge has the ultimate say and that persistence on the part of an attorney may be looked on unfavorably by a judge. To summarize, in my experience with Gawayne I found the justice system, specifically the divorce law in FL, is not fair nor just. That is not Gawayne's fault nor a reflection on his abilities. He advocated strongly for me within the constraints of a flawed system. I am grateful for Gawayne's support and advocacy for me; I truly felt that he was fighting for me and he ultimately saved me some money in the final settlement. He was fair in his time and billing and I would recommend Gawayne to others. God willing, I will not require Gawayne's services in the future but would welcome his services if such misfortune befalls me. And if he expands his services, I would welcome retaining him for my business.

Consumed with anxiety about what appeared to be the most difficult time for me; filing a divorce which involved children. Mr. Kelly superceded my expectations.
