Thorough & attentive. Very much what was needed to see us through a trying time.

Following a recommendation from a respected friend and after some conscientious research we asked Patricia to assist us in navigating, what was to us, a labyrinthine process of rectifying past application missteps to finally secure residency. After the initial consult Patricia clearly laid out for ...us the steps we and she would take to expedite the process, she was thorough in the review of the necessary paperwork and less than six months after initially consulting with her my husband now has his residency. A stressful and convoluted process was made immeasurably simpler and more manageable by her involvement.

Purely Professional and Excellent service

A year ago I had a rip in family that threaten to separate and divide my family. I am U.S. citizen and my husband is from Jamaica, I have never heard about immigration or never had to worry about it. My husband and I have been together 15 years and have 4 children who are all U.S. citizens, and just ...before Christmas my husband was taken by ICE and I was ripped apart. I then had to face this when I've never heard of it before with referrals to Gerstein and Barett my case was given to Patricia. My whole family went to the free consult with her and she assured us that she can help us with case and get him home. Not only was she going to get him home, she was going to get his deportation case cancelled. During our proceedings we found out I was pregnant with our fifth child and we were ecstatic but worried at the same time. She was so genuine, caring, and professional and kept on a continuous basis reassuring us that we would be ok and should have no worries. I cant thank her and the practice,(even including Veronica for my frantic phone calls) enough for helping to save my family and my husband freedom. Because of their talent and knowledge of what the case was my husband was granted deportation cancelation and was able to witness the birth of our last child. Thank you and I recommend her to anyone who ever needs help!!!

Excellent Professional

I went to consult with Mr. Gerstein following somebody's recommendation. I already used his services two times. And I came back about another case and Mr. Gerstein suggested attorney Patricia Cooper since she works with cases related to asylum. I had my doubts about going to a person I didn't know. ...She made me feel very comfortable. She has been very clear about everything, explaining the details about every step of this process. She is an excellent professional and gave me her best for everything to work out well. The case was successful and I am very satisfied with her service for my uncle asylum case.

Patricia Cooper amazing immigration attorney

Our family is grateful for having had the opportunity to work with Patricia Cooper .She is an expectacular, caring, professional, and amazing immigration attorney . Our family was not broken apart due to the professionalism, due diligence, knowledge, and caring of Patricia. Since the first day my... husband and I visit her office, we were confident that we were hiring the right person to help us to resolve my husband immigration issue. Patricia Cooper responded very quickly to any of our concerns and helps us to be positive and calm during this difficult process. Fortunately, due to the great advice and stupendous representation my husband’s proceedings of removal were cancelled. Few months after cancellation of removal we came to Patricia’s office to have her help us to process my husband’s Citizenship. My husband is a stroke survivor and we did not think he would be able to get US Citizenship for being unable to communicate and pass the civics exam.. Once again due to Patricia Cooper knowledge the civics exams was waived and My husband became US Citizen four months after filling the application with USCIS. Definitely will recommend Patricia Cooper’s firm to our friends and families for any immigration concerns. From the bottom of our hearts our two beautiful girls, my husband and myself want to thank you for helping us and all the families that step into your office to remain together…
