Thank You Patricia Cooper for keeping our family together

Patricia's office was the 1st immigration office I consulted with. I originally thought their price was too expensive. I then consulted with several others from Palm Beach to Miami and found they were actually the most reasonably priced since others were significantly higher, but what stuck out in m...y mind was the consultation. This office was the ONLY one to look at specific details of our case to provide specific information where others just gave us general info. I had decided when we got back into town, I would retain this office. We missed our flight and got back in town a day late, the night before court, leaving no time to retain a lawyer beforehand . I called this office back the morning of our hearing and Ms. Cooper met us at the courthouse, 10 minutes before our hearing. From that point on she treated us with courtesy, respect, and expertise. She advised us of every step along the way with detailed lists and deadlines of instructions and necessary documents. She kept in constant contact and I was amazed at her responsiveness. Many times when calling the office, she took our calls personally rather than having to wait for a callback. I must acknowledge that my fiancé and I were a complicated situation and not ideal clients. We presented many challenges to Ms. Cooper. I dropped in on her unannounced for various reasons and she always seemed to make time. She handled our complications professionally and flawlessly. She was in constant contact via email or telephone and always kept us informed. She was highly knowledgable about the immigration judiciary system as well as minor details that would impress our judge. She suggested extra steps to be taken further than what was required, based on her knowledge of our judge that proved to be highly beneficial in our favor. There was a time that deportation seemed imminent ( through our own fault ) but Ms. Cooper remained optimistic and encouraging, staying on top of the situation, (which caused her extra work through no fault on her part) and continued to walk us through what needed to be done to resolve our issues. She showed genuine concern for my children and family and through her guidance were are all still together in the USA. Throughout this process I felt as though we were guided in the right direction with an attorney who was honest, knowledgable, personable, and professional. I highly recommend Ms. Cooper and I have seen other people in our situation whose attorneys didn't give them a fraction of the personal attention Ms. Patricia Cooper gave us.

Thorough & attentive. Very much what was needed to see us through a trying time.

Following a recommendation from a respected friend and after some conscientious research we asked Patricia to assist us in navigating, what was to us, a labyrinthine process of rectifying past application missteps to finally secure residency. After the initial consult Patricia clearly laid out for ...us the steps we and she would take to expedite the process, she was thorough in the review of the necessary paperwork and less than six months after initially consulting with her my husband now has his residency. A stressful and convoluted process was made immeasurably simpler and more manageable by her involvement.

Purely Professional and Excellent service

A year ago I had a rip in family that threaten to separate and divide my family. I am U.S. citizen and my husband is from Jamaica, I have never heard about immigration or never had to worry about it. My husband and I have been together 15 years and have 4 children who are all U.S. citizens, and just ...before Christmas my husband was taken by ICE and I was ripped apart. I then had to face this when I've never heard of it before with referrals to Gerstein and Barett my case was given to Patricia. My whole family went to the free consult with her and she assured us that she can help us with case and get him home. Not only was she going to get him home, she was going to get his deportation case cancelled. During our proceedings we found out I was pregnant with our fifth child and we were ecstatic but worried at the same time. She was so genuine, caring, and professional and kept on a continuous basis reassuring us that we would be ok and should have no worries. I cant thank her and the practice,(even including Veronica for my frantic phone calls) enough for helping to save my family and my husband freedom. Because of their talent and knowledge of what the case was my husband was granted deportation cancelation and was able to witness the birth of our last child. Thank you and I recommend her to anyone who ever needs help!!!
