Nir Meshulam

I contacted Attorney Nir Meshulam after I had three immigration attorneys handle my case and failed to get me a green card. I moved from California to Florida. I contacted Attorney Nir Meshulam and he gave me a free consultation over the phone and in his office. I decided to hire him to handle my ...green card petition that was pending for 2 years. Within two months from the date I hired Attorney Nir Meshulam, I got my work permit, and two months later I had my green card interview. Attorney Nir Meshulam prepared me for my interview and attended the interview with me. He did not charge me extra fees for my interview. During the interview the immigration officer was not sure if I qualified for a green card. Attorney Nir Meshulam explained the law to the immigration officer who was rather new. The immigration officer than asked his supervisor and returned to the office, thanked my attorney for teaching him something new, and approved my green card. This is an attorney that is always there when you need him, he always responds to all my questions, and even gave me his cellular number when I needed to call him after hours. He met me over the weekends, and just offered the best service I can imagine. Basically, I had three other attorneys handle my case, and only when I hired Attorney Nir Meshulam, did I get results. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for an immigration attorney to hire him.

Unfortunate to have the experience with this lawyer. I called for an appointment and was told to come in for a "free consultation". Nir Meshulam spent approx 1 hr and 10 mins. with me listening to my case. He did not have any advice for me at the time but since he felt the consultation time was long ...he asked me for $500 to have another meeting to get more details from me and to advise me at that point. He asked me to give him a check right away and he said he would have a retainer agreement ready for me to sign the next meeting (outlining what the $500 fee would cover). When I went for the next meeting he spent 10 mins. photocopying my documents and then rushed me out of the office. I never signed any agreement and I did not get any advice. I asked him to not go any further with my documents and he refused to refund any money claiming that the "free consultation" took up almost 2 hrs of his time and that his billing rate is $300/hour! My only recourse now is to go to small claims court against this lawyer. Very disappointed.
