Biography
Mr. Schaefer has been successfully representing individuals injured by the negligence of others since 1979. He has been involved in more than 15,000 separate settlements or jury verdicts totaling tens of millions of dollars. Mr. Schaefer is one of the founding partners of Attorneys Dell & Schaefer and has been practicing law since 1976. Mr. Schaefer has been repeatedly recognized by U.S. News and World Report magazine as a Best Lawyer in the field of Personal Injury.
A New Jersey native, Mr. Schaefer received a B.S. in Economics from Syracuse University and his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University. Mr. Schaefer represents clients in state and federal courts throughout Florida. He is a member of the Broward County Bar Association, the Broward County Justice Association and the Florida Justice Association.
He has been involved in Best Buddies, a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He has also been a volunteer for the Special Olympics, and has also been actively involved in Florida youth hockey. Mr. Schaefer is also a founder of the Attorneys Dell & Schaefer Charitable foundation, which promotes health and wellness in the community through charitable giving to local organizations.

I was referred to this attorney by a physician. I had a terrible experience; I will leave it at that. Nevertheless, I should have done my due diligence. An enlightening experience...Lesson learned..

Lawyer needs to listen to his clients
He reffered me to a doctor for surgery and then when my husband had to talk to the attorney because of me being sediated. The attorney drop the case and left me hanging. I had to find an attorney to help me with the rest of case. And made out a lot better with the second attorney.

Replied last June 11, 2014obviously, the clients comments make no sense. Personal injury lawyers make a living on large surgical cases. No lawyer, including myself, would not converse with a client or their representative about their surgical case. The complaint is implausible and a fabricated attempt to injure my reputation. Sorry too ridiculous to consider further.
