Celina Maria Rios presented a fire ball presentation when I attended the consultation to determine if I would hire her to represent me in a Child Support Case. I was excited that she appeared knowledgeable of Child Support Law and I consider her a subject matter expert in the field. My case involv...ed my two daughters whose mother filed a Motion to Relocate them five hours away with additional child support. Celina Maria Rios failed to present rebuttal evidence to Respondents claims, character witnesses, timely responses to motions, and was unaware that the final judgement was rendered until I notified her. Whenever I would contact her office, she was always unavailable. The final Judgement set in the Clerk of Courts, Case que, an entire month and I did not hear anything from her office. When she did return my call, she told me it was nothing to report on the case and I advise her that an action was in my case file, she appeared oblivious. To my dismay, the mother of my daughter's, "Motion to Relocation with additional child support," was granted because her attorney presented character witnesses, false accusations, and relentless motions to fulfill her wishes. When I asked my attorney, Celina Maria Rios, to address Respondents claims during the representation period, she assured me it was not necessary to present characher witness on my part or dispute the false claims because the mother of my daughter’s, did not have a case. The only remedy I had following the judgement was an appeal and my attorney, Celina Maria Rios, advised me that I had no other recourse because she missed the appeal date. She suggested an Affidavit but advised me, I would have to pay additional fees.
