I was going through a divorce and custody battle. My x was playing dirty sorta speak Joe and his staff where amazing, affective, knowledgeable and I felt they genuinely cared about me, my kids and my case they drilled my x a d his lawyer till the truth came out they followed through with every single... thing and then some being a single mom I wasn't in the best financial situation ever but they worked with me and worked out a payment plan that I was able to handle and Patricia Joe's partner IS A BEAST IN COURT !!! I got my daughter and peace of mind back I will forever be grateful to Joe,Patricia and his staff.

This attorney is a joke. This attorney doesn't keep you informed about anything. You end up having to call him and you get a PMSing secretary that has a bad attitude. Then he charges you for talking to that twat as if it were him. He gives bs answers and couldn't even get the financials from my ex wi...fe. He didn't solve not even one aspect of my case and always had his hand out for more money telling a sad story about how it's gonna cost more and he doesn't work for free. I never expected him to work for free but if your paying thousands of dollars you should get some results. After further review of the bill I had seen he had charged me 20 mins to send a fax at $250 hr. He never knew anything about my case. After doing nothing he told me he was going to need double the amount for the retainer to in my opinion accomplish more nothing. He charged me 30mins to read a email and to "establish email account". The email literally read "this is my email address". My divorce had no assets to divide. We never even got to the part of visitation with my daughter.

I don't understand the other reviews on Avvo. This attorney represented me to fullest. His secretaries are super knowledgeable and were able to assist me with all my needs. Mr. Corey fought for me in a very contested divorce. You do have to be patient because he is very hyper but he's familiar with e...verything that is going on and you will not be disappointed when you're in Court. He is highly respected in Court and that is apparent from the moment you walk into the building. Having an attorney with a good reputation is invaluable and I highly recommend him.

He and his associates in his office located in Hialeah, Florida, failed to keep me informed. The Attorney does not want to talk to the customers and seems that don't like to answer questions. They don't call you to provide you updates of your case and you have to go in person to receive answers. The ...assistants don't know about your case and if one of them is absent they don't know nothing and you have to go in person everyday. It doesn't matter that you pay the fees and comply with the documents. They will not file your case and will not keep you informed about your case even if the hearing is in 24 hours.
