Three years ago after a long unnecessary litigated biased divorce my children and I were thrown out into the street and given 7 days to move from our home without any monetary help. Long story short, I also lost my attorney. I went Pro SE. As the year passed and as hard as I tried I couldn't get ahe...ad legally. The realization of losing my son was to difficult to fathom. So through many phone calls to other attorneys who couldn't and wouldn't take my case (conflict of interest I was told), I found Mr. Brett Schultz. Actually, an important attorney in our community recommended "this newcomer" as he stated. From the onset he took the time to listen, and realized that my case was very complicated and political. He could have said no, yet he didn't. Nor was he intimidated by the Judges, as this was extremely important going forward. Brett, was my son's savior and our families. He guided and educated me on family law, even though at times I thought he was almost ready to quit due to my frustration with the political climate in family law in Broward County. Brett was always fair monetarily and understanding when times got lean and had to place my children's bills first. Brett has been trustworthy and loyal. The positive factor in this has been when emergencies have surfaced in the middle of the night he is one phone call away to protect my son. I have recommended him to others and will continue to do so. I realize that his empathy toward family is deep rooted as he is now a father of 2. Brett, has been respectful , smart and a hard worker in my case. Even though it's been a tough journey for my little one, he is today a happy, confident young man. I retained Brett Schultz to handle a post judgement issue for me and i am so glad i did. First of all, he does not have an ego like many of these snobby boca lawyers have. He is a genuine guy...Always called back promptly and never rushed me off the phone. Extremely fair with his fee... His pe...rformance in the court room was excellent. He was well prepared and tough without being obnoxious. We went up against a big time law firm and wiped the floor with them. What makes it even more impressive that it was it was the first time Brett went in front of this judge while opposing counsel is infront of this judge regularly.
