Ellen came highly recommended by a friend who is actually an attorney that used her for his divorce . I found Ellen to be everything you need in a divorce attorney . She is an expert in family law, and very experienced. She is fair but can be tough if need be and a great communicator. I always felt ...comfortable with her. She was thorough in explaining my case and her strategy. She was calm and kept me calm in dealing with my ex husband and his attorney. There were definitely some complex issues I had to deal with and Ellen was so knowledgeable on handling them. She also did a great job representing me in court. Ellen Silvers is an excellent lawyer! She didn't treat me as a client, but as a friend from the first time I met her. Throughout my divorce process, she would always communicate with me by phone or email what was going on with my case. My ex fought very hard for me not to receive any of his pensio...n upon his retirement, but Ellen fought harder to make sure that I did. After the divorce was finalized she would contact me to make sure I was doing okay and even sent me a book to inspire and encourage me. Love her!
