Divorce, now that is a proposition that nobody looks forward to, I know I did not. When the other person in the marriage has given up on you and refuses to work on the marriage anymore you kind of run out of options though and as hard and daunting as that seems, divorce is sometimes the only option... left. This was my case after almost 20 years, a paid off home, no debt and four beautiful children. Honestly, as a Christian man divorce was certainly not something I ever wanted or thought I would do in my lifetime. So, I hung in there (probably a little too long) hoping things would or could get better but I was only living in a fog and one day finally realized things were never going to change. Yes, I prayed for her and for God to help our marriage, but the answer was no. Simply put It takes two.
