Alan Harold Landman

In a state where 50/50 custody is the precedent, filing for divorce is scary when you know that isn't an option for your little ones. I am a public servant that makes less in a year than attorneys fees cost in 6 months, with that said, if I had to do it all over again, I would pay it all over again a...nd double if that meant having Alan and his firm in my corner. Alan not only got me the best custody rotation possible for my little girl, he also got every little thing spelled out for my ex, knowing that communication was never going to happen with us. (We were divorcing for a reason). My costudy papers are so black and white for my 5 year old that even when she needs braces in 10 years, that is already spelled out, not letting my ex off the hook for anything relating to the needs of our child. With all of that said, don't waste time with any other attorney and definitely don't try to hire a friend for help or do it yourself. You don't know the way custody in Florida works like Alan and his firm does, as it is always changing. Alan and his team are the most up to date with case law. I have majority time sharing of my child and make most important decisions for her. I mean in all reality- you are filing for a divorce and here on AVVO already researching attorneys- that must mean you already know you have a fight on your hands- why not do it right the first time? Alan settled my divorce today in 2 1/2 hours in a case that was not considered a slam dunk due to the fact that I am a father that asked for full custody, own a home and married 27 years. I am not sure that I expected this to go like it did. Alan was brilliant, I have full custody of my daughter, the... most important thing. Alan was reccomended to me by someone who spends a lot of time in court and sees a lot of attorneys in action....and man were they right! If you've been in the system and are frustrated with the ineffectivness and lack of concern for the children and everyone involved, than Alan is your man. If you...r about to be in the system, than Alan is definetly your man. You better get to him before your opposition, because you will want him on your side of the table and not sitting across from you. Yes he may be a little more expensive than the other choices, however there is a reason...and trust me if you don't do it right the first time, it will cost you much, much, more the next time. Plus you can't put a price on the amount of stress that is elimanted from you and your family's life knowing you have a competent attorney who has your back. After my initial phone call with him, I knew I had the right person. Don't mistake his abrupt demeanor to anything but exhuding confidence. Alan is a straight shooter, will tell you like it is and doesn't sugar coat it like others who want to string it out. You want it off your plate and be able to move on with life, and so does he. If you have children and your goal is to make sure they get through this whole process unscathed...He has his own children and understands the importance of minimally impacting them. His team and entire crew are very professional, courteous and prompt as well. I hope I never have to use his services again but I have peace of mind knowing I will have the best in my corner if I do.
