Always a quality choice

Alan has represented me in three different separate matters. First - a family law issue wherein he secured everything I was owed and I couldn't have been happier with the representation. This involved little court time, however Alan cleared outclassed the opposing lawyer's competency which made i...t very easy to get what we wanted (equal timesharing, etc). Second - I was arrested unjustly for a protective injunction violation. Alan got this case dismissed quite easily. Third - Most recently, I had a traffic related misdemeanor charge and a careless driving charge. Alan was able to get both charges dismissed, at a reasonable price. Alan was NOT the cheapest choice for any of these cases. But for the quality of service he provided, the value was exceptional. You can either have a cheap lawyer, or a good lawyer - and you pay in the end either way. Whether you want to pay up front to prevent the fines and potential loss of income that will come from losing your case, or whether you want to cheap out and hire a second rate lawyer and deal with the ramifications - the choice, for me, was simple. Do what it takes to get the money for a good lawyer, whether you have to borrow or work extra to get it, because it pays off.

Alan is fantastic; his ongoing work, and the results, are AMAZING!

Alan and his staff have been absolutely wonderful to work with. Despite many obstacles working against me, Alan has gotten me all I could ask for out of my divorce and custody battle. He's very quick to respond in cases of emergencies or when time is critical. His calm, methodical, approach is rea...ssuring; especially for an excitable client like me. When something comes from the opposing side, I'm quick to get defensive and Alan is always there to tell me to calm down, take a breath, and don't worry about it; "nothing will come of it," he'll say and he's been right. His ethics and professionalism (along with his staff) are above reproach and his office is clean and immaculate. He won't stoop to engage in personal mud slinging and when he has to respond, his responses are fact based, dispassionate, logical, and objective. He literally shuts opposing counsel down; they usually have no response. I can't praise him enough! He's fought for, and obtained, everything I could have asked for during my divorce and custody battle and I continue to retain his services for the inevitable issues that come up with shared parenting. I would EASILY recommend him to anyone! Thank you, Alan!

Divorce/ Child Custody

In a state where 50/50 custody is the precedent, filing for divorce is scary when you know that isn't an option for your little ones. I am a public servant that makes less in a year than attorneys fees cost in 6 months, with that said, if I had to do it all over again, I would pay it all over again a...nd double if that meant having Alan and his firm in my corner. Alan not only got me the best custody rotation possible for my little girl, he also got every little thing spelled out for my ex, knowing that communication was never going to happen with us. (We were divorcing for a reason). My costudy papers are so black and white for my 5 year old that even when she needs braces in 10 years, that is already spelled out, not letting my ex off the hook for anything relating to the needs of our child. With all of that said, don't waste time with any other attorney and definitely don't try to hire a friend for help or do it yourself. You don't know the way custody in Florida works like Alan and his firm does, as it is always changing. Alan and his team are the most up to date with case law. I have majority time sharing of my child and make most important decisions for her. I mean in all reality- you are filing for a divorce and here on AVVO already researching attorneys- that must mean you already know you have a fight on your hands- why not do it right the first time? I can't thank Alan and his team enough for what they did for my daughter and me and the peace of mind I have knowing that I gave it my all for her the first time. Thank you Alan!!

The best attorney ever!

Mr. Landman is the best attorney ever. Wish I could give more than 5 stars because he is awesome! He is extremely knowledgeable, always honest and very wise in the law. He always responded to my emails very fast and kept me in the loop with my case at all times. Mr. Landman helped me get SOLE custod...y of my daughter. He always had my back no matter what and I trust him completely. Just wanted to give a huge thank you to Mr. Landman and his wonderful and amazing staff for all of your hard work and dedication to my case. My daughter and I are truly and forever thankful and grateful for Mr. Landman. You are our attorney for life. Thank you so much!

Alan Landman is a professional, top notch attorney!

Alan settled my divorce today in 2 1/2 hours in a case that was not considered a slam dunk due to the fact that I am a father that asked for full custody, own a home and married 27 years. I am not sure that I expected this to go like it did. Alan was brilliant, I have full custody of my daughter, the... most important thing. He then proceeded to handle the rest of the case professionally, while being every bit of the pit bull his reputation says he is! I wouldn't want to be on the other side of the table! My daughter and I can't thank him enough for the outcome today! He is a little more expensive but the results were priceless! Best money I have spent!
