Over the past 4 years, Pam has helped me with two Short Sale (and Foreclosure avoidance) cases. She was referred to me by another attorney, who had previously worked on another case for me. The mere fact that I was facing foreclosures suggest (correctly) that I was experiencing financial difficulti...es. As such, it was a bit of a struggle to meet even the ongoing costs associated with my cases - filings, responding to Realtors and banks, etc. Pam was much more accommodating and flexible in terms of her invoicing etc. than one would normally expect. She never badgered or pressured me, nor did she ever cease working on my cases, even when she realized I was having difficulty paying the bills. During my cases, I underwent some major surgery and ongoing treatment, making it difficult to travel. On more than one occasion Pam came to me to go over paperwork and discuss the cases. These aspects of her commitment to my cases, and to ME as a client and person, was as important as her obvious knowledge of, and her professionalism in dealing with, my cases. If you are looking for an attorney who will tell you the facts (no matter how much you don't want to hear the truth), and someone who will give you your available options in plain english, then suggest the best option(s) for your situation, I would not hesitate to recommend Pam. Pamela was a great help with my bankruptcy and foreclosure. With her expertise, we put off my bankruptcy for 4 years! I probably wouldn't have had to file at all except that we decided to let our house go into foreclosure as well. The only issue I had was that Pam decided that she didn't want to h...andle bankruptcies when it was time to file. It wasn't a big deal at all. She got 2 of my biggest credit card companies to completely write off the entire debt before I filed. The only reason I had to go ahead and file was to discharge any difference from my mortgage balance and what they would ultimately sell the house for...so, I wouldn't have to pay taxes as income to me. The only negative thing that I could say about Pam was her billing process was not very good in the beginning. HOWEVER, this GREATLY improved before I no longer needed her services. I would definitely recommend Pamela Pedlow and wouldn't hesitate to use her services again.
