Representation was conducted in a very unprofessional and incompetent manner from the beginning. Unresponsive to questions for weeks at a time but charged for all incoming correspondence. Spent a lot of time talking about her personal life, family and sharing her opinions of our home state with a con...temptuous slang charging us for all of this time. Unprofessional conversations with profanity. Failed to represent and ensure all details were met during court hearings. Failed to call upon witnesses that were previously interviewed twice and charged to us which would have helped win the probate case. Overlooked important details before and during the trial that contributed to a devastating loss.

Ms. Abbott completely failed me as my family attorney during a paternity hearing. She told my witnesses not to show up or didn't even bother contacting them. She also neglected to handle evidence properly...including key testimony from the petitioner themselves that he made absolutely no objections... to a move I made with our child.

Lesley Abbott is unprofessional and should not be in practice. She does not return phone calls for months, she gives information that is inaccurate, and she also does not do things she says she's going to. I would not recommend this attorney and I would in fact, stay away from this attorney. She goes... through assistants constantly and I think it's because they even get fed up with her. Lesley Abbott was hired on a probate matter and she has made my life miserable for the past 2 years. I live out of state and I think she totally took advantage of the fact that I can't show up at her office. She also charged me for things she never did. Do not hire this attorney.....you will be sorry.
