William F. (Bill) Meyer is a former Assistant State Attorney in Brevard County. He has been a member of the Florida Bar since 1982 and tries criminal/DUI jury trials. All consultations are done in the privacy of our office. With the exception of public records, all documents and conversations are kept strictly confidential.
Your arrest may require spending time in jail until a bond hearing can be held and bail is satisfied. Mr. Meyer will attend all required hearings with you and try to get bond reduced. Mr. Meyer will attend all preliminary hearings for you. You’ll only have to attend the final resolution. If you live out of town many criminal cases can be handled without your returning to Brevard County, saving you the travel expenses (phone consultations are available).
A considerable amount of time is needed to gather the evidence needed to successfully defend a DUI or criminal case. Even if the case is not defendable, many times we can minimize fines and penalties.
We realize this can be a stressful and financially draining time for you. We will work with you to determine the best method of payment that can accommodate your budget and take any additional pressure off of you.

Satisfied with Results
I was in a stressful situation after being arrested for a domestic violence felony charge. Bill was helpful and kept me informed of the process during my case. The end result was the prosecuting state attorney sent a letter claiming he doesn't intend to file an information, at this time, on the crimi...

Out of state
Hired Mr Meyer from out of state, after spending two days in Brevard county from being "stupid"on vacation. USELESS...
There are no specifics. He did nothing to better my outcome. Rating of 1 only because there was no option of 0. He will say the bad reviews are bitter clients, well?? Yeah, $2000K for nothing is a lot of money to me. It would be different if I felt like he even tried to help me. When an attorney is s...
Attorney's comment regarding "S" (above) The comments above don't ring a bell especially with "no specifics" referenced. You certainly can't please all the clients all the time (as you might imagine). The truth is that "good facts make good attorneys." Conversely, " bad facts" in a criminal case make it extremely difficult to get a great result. I obviously don't create the "facts", they already exist when I get involved. My best advice: 1) choose a TRIAL attorney with RECENT jury trial experience; 2) read all reviews; 3) check the Florida Bar for grievances against attorneys at 1-866-352-0707. Personally I reject cases if I don't think I can help. Bill Meyer

Great Lawyer
I was held in Brevard County Jail on my fourth vop with two new felony charges. Mr. Meyers got me a deal of a lifetime. Hes a great lawyer and very upfront. Upon consulting with him he came and visited me promptly. He even got me a better deal than I received for my last charges.
"I endorse Bill Meyer as an attorney and as a man. Perpetually positive and professional, he is a licensed lawyer who will be there for you throughout your case. Bill's easygoing manner and wealth of experience are true assets in the courtroom. You can count on Bill."
