Extremely helpful

Mr Gray took his valuable time to talk to me and answer questions about my case. He never made me feel rushed, and explained court procedure in easy to understand language. The circumstances in my case are unique in that it makes the most sense to represent myself in small claims court, but if I ...were going to hire a lawyer to represent me in a personal injury case, I would want someone as easy to talk to, and as knowledgeable as Mr. Gray.

SSD hearing

I was stuck with denials from SSD applications even with well documented significant disabilities. He took on my case and won in the 1st hearing. He and his staff were caring and kept me from loosing everything. If I recall he was to get a percentage of the cases back pay as pay but I didnt kno...w it had a cap to it. So while it felt like forever, it was SS who delayed, not him. I had worried (high anxiety) a little he was delaying to get more but wasnt the case at all. The cap was well under what he could have gotten. SSD is painfully slow so dont be surprised. But I found he eased the process greatly, and he also is legit. He seemed to screen so only helps those with real disabilities who are in true need. Not someone trying to play games (which may be rampant by how hard it is to get SSD... the slow process weeds out scammers but scammers can probably more easily apply and effectively communicate than many of the disabled.) He was my 1st ever lawyer. Now I learned lawyers can be an important aid in life. He also refered me to a good ERISA lawyer to resolve LTD Insurance matter.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
