I DO NOT KNOW YOU. I HAVE NEVER LEGALLY REPRESENTED YOU. THIS IS A BOGUS, FAKE REVIEW. I do know WHO you are, though, April. I don't know how you sleep at night or can look at yourself in the mirror and not be ashamed. It is despicable that you would abuse this AVVO website or any other website and post a negative review saying "I do not recommend Lynda Moser" when I couldn't pick you out of a one-person line up. I do not understand such deceitfulness. In addition to displaying a total absence of integrity by writing a fake review, your level of intelligence is also very questionable to me, and not just because you used the wrong homonym for "waste" and write like you're in elementary school. You apparently don't understand written words in emails or in a retainer contract and you don't understand them after they had been explained to you over and over again. The records I could find regarding you don't indicate that you have a learning disability, brain injury, or any other special needs that would explain an alarmingly low-level of understanding the written or spoken English language in your dealings with Moser & Moser, P.A. If you do have a learning disability, a head injury, or a developmental disability you never disclosed to anyone, I apologize for my harshness. It does not excuse you writing a fake review for me and stating overt lies, however. The fact that you received a refund check from my office tells me that whoever handled your case did so with efficiency as well as effectiveness. Every time my office can issue clients a check because there is unspent/unbilled money in a client's trust account after their case is completed, it is something to brag about. However, you STILL fail to understand ALL REFUNDS of remaining balances for any client must follow strict procedures that have multiple checking, comparisons, and reconciliations to ensure we are in total compliance with the Florida Bar Rules regarding IOTA trust accounts. As many law offices don't even refund retainers, I have questioned why we do it because it makes accounting and record-keeping very complicated and, therefore, time-consuming and expensive for our office. We have always chosen to maintain the practice of "refundable retainers" because we felt it was the right thing to do, regardless of the time and OUR expense to do so. Your FAKE review/rating just shows me for the millionth time that no good deed goes unpunished. While I am proud that the office I work for and people I work with are compassionate, kind, and professional, it is people like you that make it a true challenge to continue to be compassionate, kind, and professional when people act in such an undeserving manner. Rather than being grateful that our office employs practices like refunding unbilled/unspent balances of retainer fees to clients, you exhibit a complete absence of personal integrity and write a negative review for me personally by misrepresenting facts concerning the issuance of a refund to you and making statements that would lead people to believe I was your lawyer at some point in time. I urge you to, please, take an HONEST look at yourself. Life and living in this world is difficult, I know. But you don't have to make it worse by propagating lies, misrepresenting facts, being ungrateful, and misleading people to intentionally hurt other people. I am sorry that you are having problems that stole your honesty and happiness. I pray you can find peace and contentment and that you find the willpower not to lash out at people (at anyone for anything) because you are hurt and lost. While I am disgusted by your capacity to write a BOGUS REVIEW for me, I choose to forgive you. Notwithstanding your misdeeds, you are obviously hurting, and for that, I do feel bad for you. May you find hope & peace in your future.
