Our third time making and updating our estate planning documents (Living Wills, Last Will & Testament, etc) was our best by far, thanks to David Slonim Law. Our situation was the same for all 3 attorneys (2 houses in 2 states etc), but only David comprehended how our MN house could avoid FL probate... with its title put into a Revocable Living Trust, which we learned has additional benefits. David has an exceptional ability to articulate complex concepts into clear English, ‘boiled-down’ into succinct comprehensible points. As a bonus when working with David, we received an invite for free use of his ‘Estate Pass’ service that covers digital accounts and assets, to facilitate transfer of financial management to our designated successors, plus our documents cover digital matters fully. We were also particularly happy with how thorough Slonim’s Durable Power of Attorney spells out every detail (including may added thanks to their lessons learned to clarify ‘grey areas’), with the only references to FL state statues (only as truly required) spelled out fully so that our documents are easily used in MN and valid as-is. Snowbirds with a home in FL and up north would be wise to use Slonim Law for their full package of Wills documents. Anybody wanting to understand what they are signing and how to use it will appreciate David’s additional help and ultra-clear explanations (both verbal, and on his handouts).
