Mr. Spellacy is a factor a horrible lawyer.

Mr. Spellacy is in fact a very bad lawyer. He should be disbarred. I believe in my opinion because as I've read a previous review. And then he created another page and I read another review. And then I tried to call this phone all the time. They never answer is it? There's no answer machine and it's ...a Google phone number. What lawyer doesn't have an office phone number? A cellphone number of fax number. I don't understand. But this is what I do understand he's on my husband's case well , soon to be husband Well to be politically correct my fiancé. But I've spoken to my fiancé numerous times we both try to get in contact with him. He is written his office about 11 times from the jail and he will not put in for a bond hearing for my husband the thing that violated my husband's bonds, the new law violation that should have never violated him if he would have spoke up and said a Mr., minor does not constitute for a violation of a bond no misdemeanor does only felonies do. Then. The bond never would have gotten taken, but he did not do that In fact, he showed up an hour late and only said. We would like to continue wish would not let my husband come up and talk would not talk to the state and tell the judge that he would like to put in any motions that my husband said are anything then on May 14th I believe or somewhere around there he resigned from my husband's case. And go figure, this is somebody that my husband grew up with from childhood To adult hood

Very Unprofessional

Mr Spellacy is a horrible lawyer. He failed to advocate my case and refused to ask any questions of witnesses during deposition. He doesn't communicate with his clients and he will quit your case without an warning or notice in advance.

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
