Bruce W. Batts

Bruce W. Batts, Esq. is a native Floridian from Evinston in Marion County, Florida.  Mr. Batts graduated from North Marion High School in 1971 and subsequently enrolled at Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, Florida.  At Florida A&M University, he earned a B.S. Degree in Marketing in 1977.  Upon graduating from Florida A&M University, he received a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida, College of Law in 1986.  After graduating from UF, he became a prosecutor at the Office of the State Attorney, in Orlando, Florida.

As a Prosecutor, Attorney Batts quickly learned not only how to build a successful case against those accused of committing crimes, but also gained insight into the holes and inadequacies in the criminal justice system.  Growing up watching the television series, “Perry Mason” had stirred up a desire in Bruce to help those individuals who seemingly had no hope.  So after several years as a Prosecutor, he began his own private practice.  Throughout the past 25 years, Mr. Batts has represented hundreds of criminal defendants and persons injured due to the negligence of another throughout the state of Florida. No matter how large or small the case, he is indeed committed to fighting for EVERY client.

He is an ordained minister and Pastor; serving as Senior Pastor of Greater Works Ministries, Orlando, Florida and affiliate Church, Faith Central International Church, Orange Lake, Florida.
