Mr. Serrano is a born and raised resident of the Orlando area. After graduating from Orlando's Edgewater High School, Mr. Serrrano went on to graduate cum laude from the University of Florida while majoring in Political Science and minoring in Family, Youth and Community Sciences.
During Mr. Serrano's undergraduate studies, he worked at a well respected criminal defense firm in the Gainesville area, Dethomasis and Buchanan. Under the guidance of the attorneys at Dethomasis and Buchanan, he learned the importance of hard work and treating all clients as individuals.
Mr. Serrano continued his pursuit of a legal career by graduating from the University of Florida's Levin College of Law. During his legal studies, Mr. Serrano was recognized by the Florida Supreme Court as a Certified Legal Intern (CLI) for the 8th Judicial Circuit Public Defender's Office in Gainesville, FL. This distinction allowed him to represent indigent criminal defendants under the direction of the attorneys at the Public Defender's Office. Mr. Serrano's hard work and dedication to the clients awarded him the ability to be lead counsel on two criminal trials as a CLI in the PD office.
Prior to founding SerranoLaw, Mr. Serrano worked as an Assistant Public Defender in both Orange and Osceola counties for the 9th Judicial Circuit Public Defender's Office. Mr. Serrano represented thousands of clients in juvenile, county and felony cases. He was lead or co-counsel on more than 30 jury trials as well as many non-jury bench trials. Mr. Serrano also handled more than a thousand cases in a Felony Violation of Probation division while working at the Public Defender's Office.
Mr. Serrano founded SerranoLaw with the desire to provide individualized aggressive and experienced representation to those who have been accused of a crime or the victim of negligence.

Great attorney
I got caught driving on a suspended lisence for the second time along with some unpaid tickets and was facing jail time. I hired mr. Serrano and he got it dropped to just a civil charge and a ticket. He's a great attorney I definitely recommend him...
