Biography
I'm Alissa Cheremont, founder of Alissa Cheremont, Attorney at Law. I was born and raised in Louisiana where I learned the value of hard work, resilience, and community. Those same qualities carried me through my years as a student athlete at the University of Central Florida, where I competed in track and field and proudly served as capitan.
After graduating from UCF, I pursued my law degree in Washington, DC. My experience in law school, including earning the Andrew E. Taslitz Award for Criminal Justice inspired me to pursue a career in criminal law. After graduating, I went to serve as a prosecuter before opening my own law firm. My background gives me a unique perspective as I understand how the system works from the inside, and now I use that knowledge to protect my clients' rights and fight for their freedoms.
