This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a lawyer. I hired this disability attorney expecting help, guidance, and someone who would actually fight for my case — instead, I got the complete opposite. They were unprepared, unresponsive, and careless from start to finish. I had to chas...e them for updates, and when they finally responded, it was with vague excuses and zero real answers. They showed no urgency or compassion for what I was going through. When my case was denied, it was painfully obvious that they hadn’t done their job properly — no follow-up, no plan, no effort to appeal, nothing. It honestly felt like they just took my case for the paycheck type of scam and then forgot about me. I wouldn’t recommend this lawyer to anyone who truly needs help or hopes to win their disability claim. Save yourself the stress, disappointment, and wasted time — find someone who actually cares. Needless to say I lost my case on a counsel level! I already had my 40 work credits… here I am crawling around with no income! How unamerican! I worked all my life and when I got sick…. I received NO HELP! I would recommend for you to represent yourself! This lawyer never called to even prep you for your case… how can he even fight for you on your behalf? Red flag! Run! Scam! I will report him to the bar association and Morgan and Morgan!

Jerry Berkhalter does not have any knowledge about Social Security disability all he knows its what we already know. This attorney does not guide you or prepared for the hearing in from of a judge. He did not talk during the hearing , he did not contact any of my doctors for information missing in me...dical records, did not want it any witness. The staff do not return calls or emails . overall they are irresponsible, lack of experience, do not risk the chance to get disability benefits with this firm.
