About Samantha
Biography
Ms. Black received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Baruch College in New York City, where she majored in Psychology with a strong emphasis on adolescent behaviors. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Ms. Black led a volunteer tutorial program where she helped local youths study for and obtain their General Equivalency Diploma.
Ms. Black earned her Juris Doctorate from Barry University School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Black had the pleasure of clerking at the Office of the Public Defender, Ninth Judicial Circuit, which reaffirmed her long-term goal to work as an advocate for people who often go underrepresented. In addition, she served as the President of the Jewish Law Students Association for her schools chapter.
Ms. Black is admitted to practice in all Florida State courts and in the Middle District of Florida Federal Court.
In her spare time, Ms. Black enjoys hiking, traveling, and photography.
