I recently reached out to Attorney Melissa Pendergrass about my current legal situation and after speaking with me she explained she was no longer focused on the type of representation I was requiring. She was extremely knowledgeable about my legal problem but felt I was better suited for another ...attorney! I felt a review was the least I could do seeing as she took the time to hear me out for free and refer me to another attorney she felt was best suited for my situation. It's difficult to find someone who will put your best interest in front of there financial gain and for this reason alone i felt she showed her true character that my outcome meant more than her bottom line! I really hope I do not need a family law attorney in the future but if I do she will absolutely be my first choice

My case was truly a challenge. With the death of my daughter, an autistic child was kept by my daughter's friend & kept away from all family with no contact for several months. DCF refused assistance. DCF said they do Not do custody! Melissa Pendergrass and the office staff, (including leg...al secretary, Michelle, & paralegal Robert ) are amazing! The thorough investigation resulted in a parenting class and a Family Petition Agreement. After the signature of our Honorary Judge, a Sheriff's Deputy picked up this autistic child from the person keeping them & returned them to their family.
