Mr. Francis Wesley Blankner Jr. should not be able to ever do 3.850 (Post motion conviction) After he gets your money, he don't remember nothing,failure to investigate case, failure to be on time,lie over and over about what he's doing. change the motion far from really the case, never return calls..., never response to inmates letters, don't remember what he's doing, i would never recommend Mr. Blankner to anyone. I hired him in 2005 , was late putting in the appeal, miss dead lines, 2014 was when the motion was denied, because of his failure to work/on the case(was not even prepared for the case. He needs to return money to all his clients.

Buck Blankner was our attorney over the course of about a year and a half. During that time, he never answered his phone (not once) and never returned his voicemails (not once). The only way to get any information was to speak to his assistants (who were always rude and never knew the answers to our ...questions). They would often take a message for us, but we didnt get call backs from them either. Blankner always showed up late to court, I'm talking an hour and a half late. He never had any discussions with the prosocution until he got to court, but since he was late it was a total disruption of the proceedings. Once, one of his assistants slipped up and accidently let us know that Blankner never filed the motion that he had told us he filed six weeks prior. We flipped out, calling him and leaving messages, trying to get to the bottom of it. Blankner had his other assistant call us and tell us that the motion was indeed filed....it got filed two weeks after this incident. Needless to say, time was factor in this particular case and filing the motion so late ruined our chances of having it approved. We were devistated. Blankner often promised things and then would later deny he had ever said anything. We found out in court that he never reviewed any of the prosocution's evidence. He also was supposed to do two depositions with witnesses. Those never happened. When we first hired Blankner, he drove to our hoyse to get his check. That was the most effort he put into our case.

He made claims he never delivered on. From the start he hounded our family for money, threatening to quit the case numerous times. He always showed up late for hearings or had them rescheduled without telling us (the family). His staff never returns phone calls and if you DO get them on the phone, th...ey are rude and abrupt. When he did manage to show up, he was unprepared and always appeared looking rushed. When arriving at his office for a scheduled appointment, we sat for hours waiting to see him. Then he would rush us out of the office but not before asking us if we had any money for him. This lawyer should not have the title. Just because he went to law school does not make him a lawyer. A lawyer cares about his clients, is diligent, professional, knowledgeable and courteous. If you value your money, your freedom and expect respect, professionalism and competent defense, please, please, please DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!!!

horrible, started my case, said it was easy to fix. Rescheduled my court a few months, took half my money, rescheduled my appointments with him about 6-7 times. Never returned my calls. Then I find out on my own through clerk of courts, that he filed a motion to withdraw from my case. Never ever actu...ally telling me. Now I'm at zero and I have court in 1 month.........
